I purchased an Aquarian 5 years ago and it has been a great investment. My small inside water heater developed a leak and the Aquarian heat pump water heater was the perfect solution. I knew about heat pump water solutions and it was the perfect solution especially with the stressful situation I was in. The outdoor installation was both an effective and efficient solution. I was not without hot water and the removal of the cylinder meant I was able to dry out the cupboard properly. The dwelling has 2 bathrooms and I have never been without hot water, and both showers and be in operation at once. An added bonus is the environmental benefits and reduced costs. I have no hesitation in recommending Aquarian Water Heaters.
We’ve been very happy with our Aquarian, the plumber tells me it was simple to install and the power didn’t need anything special as it was supplied with a simple plug. We have the unit inside and it just does it’s thing, we’ve never run out of hot water and the hot water power bill is lower than before.

Waiheke High School engaged Energy Alternatives to install a Solar System after a competitive tender evaluation involving a number of Solar companies. When we initially discussed the project with EA they recommended we conduct a Solar Study which recommended the optimum size our system should be. This allowed us to make an informed vendor decision as each party submitted a proposal based on the same system metrics. The Board approved the project due to the favourable financial, environmental benefits as well as the learning opportunities having a working Solar system in the school would provide. The system installed at the high school is a large system at 75kWp and 200 Solar panels. Energy Alternatives is a local Waiheke supplier which streamlined the installation process and also provides peace of mind should there be any issues where we need support. Awesome, so pleased with it. The powder coated steel is fading and some staining on the stainless steel but otherwise all good. Next plan down the road is solar PV and batteries for load shifting and going with Flick Power.
I bought an Aquarian heat pump hot water cylinder in 2015. In it’s 1st month of operation my power bill dropped $50. Needless to say in another 2 years it will have paid for itself. There are only 2 of us living in the house so a 4 person house would pay for itself much quicker.
I am very pleased with unit and highly recommend to anyone.

Just wanted to tell you that the (AQ275LE) hot water tank is up and running perfectly. There’s lots of hot water & pressure. Lance is a gentleman.
I’m looking forward to stage 2 and the solar installation next year. I guess going off grid is a huge deal with the addition of batteries etc.
